Description

This is a sample map package that can be used along with our collector tutorials. In the tutorial, you'll create a collector map to use for damage assessments.

Here are the required steps to publish a service to your portal or organization. Supported in ArcGIS Desktop & Portal 10.1 and up

  1. Download this damage assessment template.
  2. Open the map package and move the damage assessment feature class to your enterprise geodatabase. Make sure editor tracking is enabled on your feature class.
  3. In the map document point the damage assessment layer to the new feature class that was added to your geodatabase.
  4. Publish a feature service to your ArcGIS Server. To be able to populate the editor tracking fields with your field crew members you will need to enable token security on your service and add the correct roles. To learn more about editor tracking go here.
  5. Connect to your portal and sign in with that account you will use to publish the collector map.
  6. Add the damage assessment feature service to your content by clicking on Add Item and choose on the web.
