About

University of Minnesota Duluth: BS. in Geological Sciences, Certificate in GIS, Minor in Communications.

Background

Geology has always been something that has fascinated me ever since I was a small child. There wasn’t a time that you could find me with empty pockets.

*I couldn't resist adding at least one pun in here, I promise it's the only one!

In my college career at the University of Minnesota Duluth, my passion for geology became ignited. Taking my childhood interests for rocks at their face value and building it to an educated understanding of the dynamic processes that have been undertaken to develop that specific rock.

As I pursued my degree in geology, I was told about the greatness of GIS and figured I would give it a try (little did I know this would become my second passion). Ever since then I haven't been able to stay away from it, GIS is my kryptonite. Every aspect of GIS fascinates me, it's infinite in it's uses, that's what blows my mind every day.

I hope to some day in my future career integrate both my passions for GIS and geology together.
