Select one of the web maps in this group and follow the instructions in the item description to submit feedback through the Map Viewer. Feedback will be reviewed by Esri staff and issues will be fixed in future updates to the basemaps, imagery, geocoding, and routing.
Considerations for choosing the appropriate feedback map:
Esri Basemaps Feedback- choose this map if you would like to provide feedback about errors seen on the basemaps. Some examples of errors are misspellings, incorrect feature locations or geometry, missing features, features that need to be removed, or Imagery Hybrid labels.
Imagery Basemap Feedback – this map is to provide comments on the Imagery Basemap. Some examples are, out of date imagery, shifted imagery, and poor-quality imagery. If you notice errors in labels seen in the Imagery Hybrid map it is best to report these in the Esri Basemap feedback map.
Geocoding Feedback – use this map if you find geocoding errors. Some examples are incorrect addresses/places or an issue with the geocoding result.
Routing Feedback - this map enables you to provide feedback on Routing issues that you experienced in ArcGIS World Routing Services.
Places Feedback - this app enables you to provide feedback on issues or errors that you see in the Places (Point of Interest) layer in Esri Basemaps.
OpenStreetMap - OSM is a collaborative project that is user edited, and not a database managed by Esri. For this map we recommend going directly to https://www.openstreetmap.org and editing the map at that site. These edits will get picked up and be included in future OSM vector basemaps (created and hosted by Esri) and released on ArcGIS.com. The OSM maps are on a monthly update cycle using OSM Daylight distribution data.
More than a few edits?
There are other ways to improve the map. If you see more than a few edits to the current basemap, you can also add detail for a special area of interest with the Editor App, or directly share your authoritative data using the Contributor App. Watch this video, or go to the Community Maps Program page for more information.
