Description

This is a component of Oriented Imagery Classic, which is a community-supported, add-in solution for managing and visualizing imagery as a part of your GIS. The oriented imagery capability is being integrated directly into the ArcGIS system; read this blog to learn more. Once the integrated version of the oriented imagery capability reaches parity with the Classic version, the Classic version will be retired.

Notes
Use the Oriented Imagery Classic add-In for ArcGIS Pro to explore non-nadir imagery from aerial, drone, or terrestrial sensors. Load an oriented imagery catalog (OIC), click a location of interest on your map, then explore any available oblique, street-view, or inspection images that depict your area of interest in the viewer. As you pan and zoom, see the camera’s field of view dynamically updated on the map. Explore the gallery of sample Oriented Imagery Classic web apps to see how the Oriented Imagery Classic Viewer works.

The Oriented Imagery Classic add-in for ArcGIS Pro is intended to let users view preexisting oriented imagery catalogs (OICs). To create your own OIC, which is a prerequisite for visualizing or sharing your own oriented imagery collection, download and install the Oriented Imagery Classic Management Tools from ArcGIS Online.

For developer resources related to Oriented Imagery Classic apps and the Oriented Imagery Classic API, visit the Oriented Imagery Classic GitHub repo.

Like, GO_FMIS, I was able to create the OIC, and have the two feature classes in the TOC. But I don't see the Oriented Imagery tab. Also having difficulties publishing to my company's enterprise portal. Are we to make any modifications to the python script to point to our own portal? It's telling me I'm not signed in. But I am signed into my Portal...I have Pro open so accessing my license.

Hi, I've sucessfully installed the addin and can add an OIC (I only see 2 layers: exposure points and coverage map). But then I don't see the Oriented Imagery tab. Am I missing something? I use Pro 3.1.0.

Thanks for these updates, but its very difficult to find, use and deploy. Could Esri please significantly increase its investment in these tools as this is an amazing type of data for not only visualisation, but also for data creation from the resulting images. Of Particular interest is the generation of detailed mesh datasets. Matterport.com is an example of an organisation Esri could partner with. It would also be useful to develop a solution that enables the use of external 360 cameras such as using a Theta V, X or Z1 with QuickCapture for this purpose, additionally, for indoor mapping this type of imagery to mesh generation is 1/100th the cost of Lidar and more usable for visualisations. Thank you.

Hello, I am running ArcPro 2.8.3, and when I try to select an image to view, the viewer is either blank or tells me there is no image available, despite following the tutorial provided in both add-ins (viewer & management). Any help is appreciated, thanks!
