Release Notes:
September 10, 2024: Added the SanFrancisco.gdb/Analysis/Patients dataset to accompany an updated tutorial for the Pro 3.4 release.
June 20, 2024: Restore missing Analysis and BaseMaps feature datasets in the Paris.gdb geodatabase that were accidentally removed in the previous update.
June 20, 2024: Fixed a small problem in the Paris.gdb network dataset's RoadClass attribute.
May 7, 2024: Updates for the Pro 3.3 release. Added time zones to the San Francisco and San Diego network datasets. Added the CoffeeShops.csv file for use with the Last Mile Delivery tutorial.
February 22, 2023: Updates for the Pro 3.1 release. Add abbreviations tables to the sample network datasets. Update all network datasets to use Python instead of VBScript in field evaluators. Include expected output script tool for the new arcpy.nax script tool tutorial.
January 21, 2022: Removed unused tables in SanFrancisco.gdb
January 19, 2022: Added TransitNetworkTemplate_SMP_Custom_Roads.xml, a network dataset template that can be used when creating a public-transit-enabled network dataset using street data from Streetmap Premium Custom Roads. The tutorial steps will be updated at the Pro 3.0 release to make use of this template.
December 6, 2021: Corrected the restrictions used for the Tour Bus Time and Tour Bus Distance travel modes in the "Create a Network Dataset" tutorial's expected output data. Updated the network dataset template and sample output for the "Create and use a network dataset with public transit data" tutorial to turn off directions; this is to allow users to use their own data without errors.
November 23, 2021: Updated SanFranciscoLocator.loc to a newer locator format. Updated OrderPairs.xls to include cities in the addresses to facilitate locating.
July 2, 2020: Fixed incorrect units in Miles cost attribute in Create Network Dataset tutorial's expected output data
June 1, 2020: Removed unused network dataset
May 18, 2020: Added a San Francisco locator and an Excel table for use in the Vehicle Routing Problem tutorials and updated the Reference_Landmarks table for the Create Network Dataset tutorial.

Dear ArcGISTeamNetworkAnalyst In most cities in the developing world, we haven't access to proper roads/streets data to use as network dataset. Most of the time there aren't needed attributes such as elevation, speed limit, roads direction etc. So, we use for example OSM data. Can you offer any best way to download the proper data for Network Analysis? Thank you very much, Alirezamohammadi20142014@gmial.com
Trying to open the downloaded data's SanFranciso.gdb resulted in error, "An unexpected fatal exception occured within this application. Execution should be terminated" I'm using Pro 2.9.0
The warning pop-up is explained in the middle of the documentation. Please refer to the "Add Cost" section below step #21. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/analysis/networks/how-to-create-a-usable-network-dataset.htm#:~:text=Evaluator%20dialog%20box.-,Note%3A,-There%20will%20be
I've configured following the document. But I can't find feature class "Walking_Pathways"
I'm getting the same error as annmak_hku stated when I get to the end of the "Add network sources and setting up connectivity policies" section of the Tutorial (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/analysis/networks/how-to-create-a-usable-network-dataset.htm#GUID-ACEC7CD3-8A4B-4565-BBCB-D0AE92B1B486)
This issue has been fixed in the ArcGIS Pro 2.9 release. Sorry for the confusion!
FYI - I actually think this was related to the COST section of the Tutorial being after the connectivity section. In the tutorial. In the connectivity section, it states to close the dialogue box after you set the connectivity settings in Source Settings. However, I believe you get the error annmak_hku described because the cost error for the Walking_Paths is not resolved yet. When I went through and did the Cost changes, I was able to close the dialogue box and did not get the error anymore.
