Abstract: This map shows the predicted developed land by 2050 in Southern Appalachia study area for NPCA's 30x30 Landscape Assessment. This is a predicted land cover dataset produced by the Clark Labs at Clark University at a meter resolution derived and modeled using National Land Cover Database (NLCD). Developed land cover is defined by the original data source as areas characterized by high percentage of constructed materials (30% or greater). The dataset was obtained from the Green Infrastructure application (GI - Landcover Change (esri.com)) in June 2023 by Jesse Anderson. This layer is used in the web app "Southern Appalachia 30x30 Landscape Values & Threats".Last updated 7/10/23.
