Abstract: All parcels within the City are classified according to 26 distinct existing land use codes. The data intends to represent the actual land uses existing on all parcels, current as of the date of the update (May 2024).
Purpose: The City conducts an annual update of the existing landuse. The data was compiled from a combination of building permit issuances, the Mississauga Official Plan designations, zoning, development applications, aerial photos and site checks completed in the Fall of 2023.
